①非居住者の口座開設の可否
　いずれも可能です。
　米国Eトレード証券のホームページには、米国非居住者向けの画面があります。

②郵送での口座開設の可否
　いずれも可能です。

　・米国Eトレード証券の場合
　　1. Download application (PDF)
　　2. Review and complete the required forms and agreements including a copy of your passport and W8-BEN form
　　3. Mail the completed application to the respective address below:

　・BOOM証券の場合
　What do I need to prepare when opening an account by post (Boom's office address)?
1. Fill out the Account Opening Form;
2. Make a copy of your official ID or passport;
3. Make a copy of your proof of address (e.g. utility bills, bank statements issued within 3 months);
4. Prepare the first year annual fee;
5. Arrange a witness to certify your ID or passport copy as well as your signature on the Account Opening Form.

If I open an account by post, who can be my witness?

If you open an account without personal visit, the signing of the Account Opening Form and sighting of related identity documents must be certified by a witness.

The witness must be a Justice of Peace or professional (such as a certified public accountant, a lawyer, or a notary public), and Sign and state their full name and specific designation (e.g. registration with which law / accounting association) on the Account Opening Form; and Sign and write "Certified True Copy" on the proof of your identity.

　BOOM証券の口座開設には、サインとパスポートの認証が必要ですが、米Eトレード証券には、そのような記載がありません。

　既にHSBC香港に銀行口座を開設してある方がBOOM証券に口座を開設する場合、以下のような方法もあります。

Alternatively, you can return the Account Opening Form plus a personal cheque that
Bear your name and drawn on your account with a licensed bank in Hong Kong;
Not less than HK$10,000;
Bear the same signature as that on the Account Opening Form; and
Made payable to "Boom Securities (H.K.) Limited".

BOOM証券の口座開設申込書には、W-8が添付されています。証券会社側で記入してくれます。
